The Potter’s House is a small pottery studio situated on a farm in the heart of Apple and Pear country in the Eastern Cape.

The studio strives to make beautiful, creative and functional ceramics and homeware pieces to be enjoyed by those who are looking for something handmade with a personal touch that speaks to their heart and soul.

Our parents had handmade household items that they cherished and loved every day, that were made by skillful crafters. They had a special and personal relationship with these items because someone took the time and effort to make it by hand to bless someone else. We grew up with such items: a special cup, a wooden chair, a wooden carved spoon or a table cloth etc.

The Potter’s House would like to restore back such love, care and an appreciation for handmade ceramics and homeware.
We trust that our products will find the right home, or person that enjoys making special memories around their table, around their house or just using it for their pleasure whenever they feel like it.
